Maria Chrin Featured as a Leading Advocate for Women’s Financial Inclusion

Maria Chrin, Managing Partner of Circle Wealth Management, participated in a panel about engaging women in investing and financial planning. The event was hosted by SoFi, an online lending and investment company. The “Claim Your Share: Women + Investing” event took place in New York City and brought together over one hundred of SoFi’s members and the public. The panel engaged in a thoughtful conversation around the barriers to women and investing and how women can set themselves up for a healthy financial future. The panelists also shared tips on ways for women to better advocate for themselves in the workplace and close the gender pay gap.

The panelists, who were chosen because of their extraordinary careers in the investment and personal finance industry, shared their own experiences. Maria spoke about taking control of your finances and gaining confidence in investing by starting with small steps. Specifically, Maria recommended creating a personalized financial plan with a financial professional and engaging with them step-by-step to increase your own financial literacy.

Maria was joined by Jean Chatzky, Financial Editor of NBC’s Today Show, Alexa von Tobel, Founder and CEO of LearnVest, Lindsey Stanberry, Director of Work & Money at Refinery29. The panel was moderated by Libby Leffler, VP of Membership at SoFi.
